The NIKKOR Z MC 50mm f/2.8 is a dedicated macro (Micro) prime lens for Nikon Z mount cameras, reaching a maximum reproduction ratio of 1x for true life-size close-up shots. At a standard 50mm focal length, it also doubles as an everyday prime lens.
10 elements in 7 groups, including 1 ED glass element and 1 aspherical element, keep the optical design compact while controlling aberrations. A fluorine coat on the front element helps resist smudging and makes cleaning easier, a useful feature for close-up work.
