Powerful Shave, Gentle on Skin with SkinIQ Technology

The Philips S5887/50 combines SteelPrecision blades, a Power Adapt sensor, 360° flexing heads and an integrated pop-up trimmer for a close and comfortable shave. Philips also specifies a 7-year motor and battery lifetime.

Powerful Performance in Every Pass

The SteelPrecision shaving system delivers up to 90,000 cutting actions per minute. Its 45 high-performance blades are self-sharpening and made in Europe, helping cut more hair per stroke.

Adjusts to Your Beard for Effortless Shaving

The intelligent facial-hair sensor reads hair density 250 times per second and dynamically adjusts the cutting power to help provide an effortless and gentle shave.

Flexible Heads Follow Your Facial Contours

Fully flexible shaving heads turn 360° to follow facial contours, helping maintain optimal skin contact for a thorough and comfortable shave.

Engineered for Precision and Cutting Efficiency

The angular shaving heads feature a precision-focused design with hair-guiding channels that help move hair into an effective cutting position.

Deep Cleaning in Just 1 Minute

The included Quick Clean Pod cleans and lubricates the shaver in just 1 minute. Philips states that the cleaning pod is 10 times more effective than cleaning with water when comparing shaving debris after cleaning fluid versus water in the cartridge.

Shave Wet, Dry and Even Under the Shower

Wet & Dry operation lets you choose between a comfortable dry shave and a refreshing wet shave. The shaver can also be used with gel or foam, including under the shower.

Precision Trimmer Integrated in the Handle

The integrated pop-up precision trimmer is designed for finishing touches, including maintaining a moustache and trimming sideburns.

1 Hour Charging and 5 Minute Quick Charge

The Li-Ion battery provides up to 60 minutes of shaving time. A full charge takes 1 hour, while a 5-minute quick charge provides enough power for one full shave.

One-Touch Open for Easy Cleaning

Open the shaving head at the touch of a button and rinse the shaver with water. The S5887/50 is fully washable for convenient everyday maintenance.
